peonies, and other gorgeous stuff...

This week peonies are in full swing - last week we had pure white peony in the shop - the scent was divine (the price was not so divine).

Our Saturday bride had a gorgeous colour palette of vintage pinks, ivory, creams and pale greens. Vicky & Adam were married at The Alexandra Hotel & Spa in Uckfield. The weather was kind, and the sun shone for most of the day.

Her bouquet was filled with peony, roses and delicate spray rose with just very subtle foliage, with a zesty splash of green using viburnahm snowball - the spray roses were a mix of vanilla majolica and blanchette - gorgeous!

The table centerpieces were a mix of elegant silver candelabra with ivory candles, posies of delicate flowers in jam jars and a few single stems of blousey hydrangea and peony - we also used our special antique silver votives for lighting in the evening. 

April weddings

A very busy week here in the shop, with 2 weddings just done.

Perfect weather for a village church wedding, then on to the wonderful Spa Hotel for the wedding reception.
